Buzz Off!

August 8, 2024

Dear neighbors,

The heat waves have ended and by Saturday, so too will the rains.

This weekend is a good time to check your property for sources of standing water where mosquitos breed. You can do A LOT to limit their spread.

Inspect your property and nearby areas carefully. Mosquito eggs can successfully hatch in a bottle cap. Look for and eliminate items that collect water; even the smallest amounts. Uncovered trash cans, clogged gutters, toys, old tires, untended bird baths, and potted plants with water dishes are common areas for concern.

By working together we can create healthier communities and a more enjoyable outdoor experience.

Of course, we will not eradicate mosquitos, so here are some helpful tips to avoid their sting.

In service,

Vince
