A DC Public Library Card opens up a world of opportunities that can help you and your family find your creative voice, develop professional skills, support your community, learn something new, be entertained and much, much more. All for free!

Please take a moment to sign up for a library card or renew your card now. The resources and wonders that our libraries provide are nearly endless. Libraries host events for all ages, provide computer and printing resources, link you to career development tools, and provide access to books, news, movies and music.

Visiting the library is always a rewarding experience. In fact, bring a friend, family member, senior citizen or introduce a young person to the library. You'll be glad you did and so will they!
